（一） 中纤板
（1） Medium fiber board
纤维板是以植物纤维为主要原料，经过热磨、施胶、铺装、热压成型等工序制成。纤维板有密度大小之分，分为低密度纤维板（<450kg/m3）、中密度纤维板（450~880 kg/m3）和高密度纤维板（>880kg/m3）。中纤维板（MDF）就是中密度纤维板。

中纤板表面光滑平整、材质细密，可方便造型与铣型；韧性较好，在厚度较小（如6mm，3mm）的情况下，不易发生断裂。然而，中纤板防潮性较差，强度不高，做家具的高度不能过高，绝大部分为2100mm。因其内部结构特性，用胶量较大，在一定程度上环保系数较低。
